Drawing-Based CNC Manufacturing / Engineering Application

Custom Metal Components for AI Server & Data-Centre Equipment

Grandmec supports engineering teams developing server, rack and infrastructure equipment with drawing-based machined components. Applications include mounting plates, brackets, housings and mechanical interfaces associated with equipment assembly and thermal integration.

Application Scope

AI Servers & Data-Centre Equipment

Assembly fit, drawing revisions, repeatability and thermal-component integration need to remain controlled across the equipment build.

Engineering Review

Engineering Points Before Manufacture

A drawing review is more useful when the functional interfaces and approved acceptance requirements are clear. Engineering design consultancies can use the same route for prototype iteration and transfer into repeat production.

  • Establish hole patterns and functional datums
  • Confirm assembly clearances and finish allowances
  • Maintain clear revision status
  • Review whether machining, formed metal or a coordinated process route best suits the part

AI Servers & Data-Centre Equipment FAQ

Answers are shown below for direct review. Final feasibility follows the approved drawing and project-specific requirements.

Can one supplier support server mechanical parts and cooling components?+

Related mechanical components can be reviewed together, but each part requires its own material, drawing and acceptance criteria. Cooling assemblies also require a defined joining and test scope.

Where are detailed cooling-component requirements addressed?+

This page covers server and rack mechanical integration. For cold plates, fluid passages, sealing surfaces, cleanliness and test requirements, see the Liquid Cooling application page.
